The work-sharing benefits in the projection year are equal to the prior year’s benefits time the change in the population of potential claimants and the yearly increase in average benefits.

The change in the population of potential claimants is calculated as the ratio of employees in the projection year to the prior year’s employees.

The yearly increase in average benefits is calculated as the ratio of the week weight in the projection year to the previous year’s week weight, multiplied by ratio of the average weekly benefits in the projection year to the previous year’s average weekly benefits.
