Remission of service fees

When we don’t meet our service standards, we must remit the service fee before July 1 of the following fiscal year. We don’t include interest on pending remissions. We won’t issue remissions if service standards are missed because of circumstances that were outside of our control, including:

  • acts of nature, such as floods or power failures
  • labour disruptions
  • delays caused by the applicant, such as not providing information on time
