OSFI is issuing the final revised version of Guideline E-15 – Appointed Actuary: Legal Requirements, Qualifications and Peer Review. The revised guideline enhances the role of the peer review function, which will provide Appointed Actuaries with a more valuable source of consultation advice and will assist OSFI with its supervisory reviews of insurance companies and fraternal benefit societies.
