A recent news segment which aired on CBC Television’s “The National”, incorrectly informed viewers of the type of information available on our web site. OSFI’s web site simply provides a tool under the “Who we regulate” section to help Canadians find out if their private pension plan is regulated by our office.
The current status of, or financial data related to, federally-regulated private pension plans is not available through OSFI’s web site. You can contact your pension plan administrator for information of this nature.
