This notice is directed to the attention of all federally regulated deposit-taking institutions and insurers, and persons wishing to establish such entities.

OSFI hereby requests that the following email address be used for the initial submission of documents in support of applications for approval under the Bank Act, the Trust and Loan Companies Act, the Insurance Companies Act, the Cooperative Credit Associations Act, and associated regulations:

Once the documents have been received, a case officer will be assigned to the matter. Thereafter, all case-related documents and correspondence should be directed to the case officer.
