OTHER INSTRUCTIONS

All reporting institutions are required to submit both the GA and GB templates. For institutions where the parent entity and the broker report together, the GB may be submitted with the same content.

Each reporting institution will receive a return template with a list of row numbers in place of issuer names. The Bank of Canada will inform each bank which numbers the issuer names on their offer sheets map to.

Financial institutions will report interest rates, to two decimal places, by term and issuer. This information is the same as the data provided by financial institutions to Bank of Canada in previous years via unstructured formats (e.g. excel workbooks, PDF documents, etc.).
