On Thursday, November 20, 2025, Jacqueline Friedland, Executive Director of the Risk Assessment and Intervention Hub, and Theresa Hinz, Executive Director, Policy and Risk Response, at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), will hold a technical briefing for media on the measures published during OSFI’s fourth Quarterly Release Day of 2025.
The release items will include:
- Consultation on draft Capital Adequacy Requirements (CAR) Guideline (2027)
- Final Minimum Capital Test (MCT) Guideline (2026)
- Rescinding or removing guidance documents from OSFI’s guidance library
- Supervisory Framework Renewal Review Report
- Insights from the 2025 Climate Risk Returns and updated returns
